The best Michelin 1 star restaurant we have tasted.  It&rsquo;s our second time at st placide, we had very positive experience the first time thus we went again and the second time is better and really really good.

We had one of the tasting menus and the food was excellent. Lovely room, very calm.  Only thing to note is that this restaurant was a 40 minute walk from the walled town!

This restaurant is excellent from the moment you walk in. Attention detail and really welcoming staff with lovely atmosphere. Food amazing, had the tasting menu which was spectacular. Would highly recommend.

Service was snotty and unobservant. We felt as if we were in the way rather than a customer. At the end there was even a bottle of wine on the bill we didn&rsquo;t have. All in all a bad experience.

The hot rocks experience was great fun. The food was good, but to me the flavours were a little bland - I would have preferred a little more zing. The wine list was thoughtful and reflected the sense of journey. Overall, well priced and recommended.
